Dear San Mateo County Democrats,
Happy summer! And summer means that the SMCDems will host the Flip It in 2018! BBQ.
Join us for Flip It in 2018! BBQ on Sunday, August 5 from 12 to 4 pm at Twin Pines Park in Belmont. It will be the Democratic Party of the summer. With your help, we’re going to flip Congressional seats from Republican to Democrat across the State of California. We’re also going to elect and re-elect great Democrats in San Mateo County.
At the BBQ, you will talk to candidates running for local, regional and statewide office, meet your elected San Mateo County Democratic Party members and chat with many other Democrats. You will have burgers or hot dogs and other tasty BBQ fare. You will enjoy entertainment and otherwise have a great summer BBQ time.

You can buy individual tickets for $25 or family tickets for up to five for $60. You can also be a BBQ Sponsor at levels ranging from $100 to $2,500 with many great benefits. As always, our chartered clubs and friends will have tables with information about volunteering and local issues.
There are many other ways to support the SMCDems in raising funds for the Fall 2018 Campaign Headquarters.
Flip It in 2018! BBQ volunteers are needed. Everything from event planners (food, promotions, and program), event day decorators, event bay registration, grill masters, and more. Please contact [email protected] for more information and to sign up.
Just around the corner, we will be opening a SMCDems Campaign Headquarters through through the November 2018 election. We are now searching for a headquarters site. Hopefully, by the July 19 General Meeting, we will have information to share with you.
