Dear Friends:

It is now August and officially campaign season.

This year there will be over 20 city council and school board elections, with many of the races hotly contested.

Voter Registration

In addition to working in support of Democratic candidates in advance of the November General Election, the San Mateo County Democratic Party is sponsoring a vigorous voter registration effort throughout the county.

The Party will have booths at many events in local communities but will also train interested volunteers in doing voter registration at other public sites.

Interested volunteers should contact the Party at contact@sanmateodemocrats.org.

Democratic Party Picnic

Save the date of Saturday, August 24 for the afternoon Democratic Party Picnic in Central Park in San Mateo.

The year ahead will be exciting and as always there remains much work to do as we prepare for the next elections and we invite all San Mateo County Democrats to participate in upcoming events and efforts to keep San Mateo County blue.

Democratically Yours,

David Burruto
Chair
