On May 7, 2013, there are two Special Elections in San Mateo County:

• La Honda Pescadero Unified School District Special All Mail Ballot Election
• Portola Valley Elementary School District Special All Mail Ballot Election

The San Mateo County Democratic Party has formally endorsed Measure N (a local parcel levy in support of local schools) in the La Honda Pescadero Unified School District and Measure O (a parcel levy in support of schools) in the Portola Valley School District.
