Chair's Letter - April 2014

Subject: June Primary Election News

April 01, 2014

Dear Friends,

It has been a difficult few weeks for the Democratic Party in California with a third Democratic State Senator charged with serious crimes. In the wake of the recent arrest of Senator Leland Yee, a representative of San Mateo County, the State Senate has taken the extraordinary step of suspending Senator Yee, as well as Senators Rod Wright and Ron Calderon.

As Chair of the San Mateo County Democratic Party, I invite local Democrats to attend the April 17, 2014 General Meeting to discuss these recent events.
