Subject: Election Day is almost here!

Dear Friends:

The November General Election concludes on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. There are numerous Democratic Party candidates and many local measures on the ballot. If you have not yet cast your ballot there are few days remaining to do so.

Voters who have not mailed their voted ballots should can drop off ballots by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, at any of the following locations:

  1. 40 Tower Road, San Mateo;
  2. 555 County Center, Redwood City;
  3. Any open polling place in San Mateo County; or
  4. Any City Hall in San Mateo County during business hours.

 

Voters who have questions are encouraged to contact the Registration & Elections Division, either by phone 650.312.5222 or by email ([email protected]) or online (www.shapethefuture.org).

Voter Registration

In addition to working in support of Democratic candidates in advance of the November General Election, the San Mateo County Democratic Party is sponsoring a vigorous voter registration effort throughout the county.

The Party will have booths at many events in local communities but will also train interested volunteers in doing voter registration at other public sites.

The year ahead will be exciting and as always there remains much work to do as we prepare for the next elections and we invite all San Mateo County Democrats to participate in upcoming events and efforts to keep San Mateo County blue.

 

Voter Registration State Executive Board Meeting in Millbrae

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Executive Board Meeting of the California Democratic Party will be held in Millbrae, November 22-24, 2013, at The Westin Hotel, located at 1 Old Bayshore Hwy, Millbrae, CA 94030.

The Executive Board Meeting is an opportunity for California Delegates to the CDP to gather to conduct Party business. For more information regarding the Executive Board Meeting including agenda, caucus meet ins, training sessions and accommodations, please visit this link on the CDP Web site.

Volunteers are needed for registration shifts and meeting support all weekend.

Volunteers will be granted a free observer pass to allow access to all Executive Board Meetings except the paid lunch.

Please include hours of availability. Volunteers are needed 4 pm- 10 pm Friday, November 228 am - 10 pm on Saturday November 23; and 10 am - Noon on Sunday, November 24.

  

Holiday Party

The San Mateo County Democratic Party will be holding our annual Holiday Party in December. Details will follow in the December newsletter and via Facebook and Twitter.

The year ahead will be exciting and as always there remains much work to do as we prepare for the next elections and we invite all San Mateo County Democrats to participate in upcoming events and efforts to keep San Mateo County blue.
