With the conclusion of the Labor Day Weekend the election season officially begins.
The San Mateo County Democratic Party convened in a Special Meeting on August 29, 2013 to vote on the Party's official Endorsements for the November 2013 General Election.
Below is the full list of endorsements of the San Mateo County Democratic Party:
P - San Mateo-Foster City School Bond YES
Q - Portolla Valley Utility Tax - Temporary Reduction NEUTRAL
R - Belmont-Redwood Shores School Parcel Tax YES
S - Las Lomitas School Bond YES
T - Brisbane Business License Tax YES
U - Foster City Business License Tax YES
V - Pacifica Utility Users Tax YES
W - Menlo Park School Bond YES
X - Atherton Parcel Tax YES
*Denotes incumbent
Local elections are perhaps the most important and the candidates listed above will have the most direct impact on the daily lives of the people they serve. Please consider voting for the candidates endorsed by the San Mateo County Democratic Party.
Be on the lookout for additional communications in support of the candidates endorsed by the San Mateo County Democratic Party, and please share the endorsements with friends and family in your community!
Voter Registration
In addition to working in support of Democratic candidates in advance of the November General Election, the San Mateo County Democratic Party is sponsoring a vigorous voter registration effort throughout the county.
The Party will have booths at many events in local communities but will also train interested volunteers in doing voter registration at other public sites.

The year ahead will be exciting and as always there remains much work to do as we prepare for the next elections and we invite all San Mateo County Democrats to participate in upcoming events and efforts to keep San Mateo County blue.
