The San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee is the official body of the Democratic Party in and for San Mateo County. It serves to promote Democratic Party candidates and local measures that are consistent with Democratic Party values.

The Democratic Party endorsements for local ballot measures, city councils, school boards, and other county/regional races were finalized at a general meeting of the San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee on Thursday, Sept 6, 2018.

“The endorsed candidates exemplify Democratic Party values and are committed to upholding those values in their respective offices,” said Cecily Harris, Chair of the San Mateo County Democratic Party. “Our communities will benefit greatly from their leadership and we will vigorously support them in their efforts.”
