San Mateo Democratic Party Announces Endorsements For November 2019 Election

The San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee is pleased to announce that the following candidates and ballot measures have received the Democratic Party endorsement for the November 5, 2019, election.

Burlingame City Council: Emily Beach, Mike Dunham
San Bruno City Council: Stephan Marshall, Irene O'Connell
San Mateo Foster City School District: Ken Chin, Alison Proctor

Ballot Measures

Brisbane Measure B — Uniform Transient Occupancy Tax Measure: Endorse
Brisbane Measure C — Liquid Storage Facilities Business License Tax: Endorse
Brisbane Measure E — Cannabis Business License Tax Measure: Endorse
Cabrillo Unified School District Measure I — Parcel Tax Measure: Endorse
Redwood City School District Measure H — Parcel Tax Measure: Endorse
San Bruno Measure G — Transactions and Use (Sales) Tax Measure: Endorse

The San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee is the official body of the Democratic Party in and for San Mateo County. It serves to promote Democratic Party candidates and local measures that are consistent with Democratic Party values.

The Democratic Party endorsements for local ballot measures, city councils, school boards, and other county/regional races were finalized at a general meeting of the San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee on Thursday, Sept 5, 2019.
