Canvassing Support

Support activists canvassing to elect Democrats to the US House.

Last year Californians passed Prop 50 to enable us to elect 5 more Democrats to the US House of Representatives.

Now it’s time to do the work to win the seats. Two of these races are in the Central Valley, relatively close to us.

The Bay Area coalition (bayareacoalition.org) will be hosting phonebanks and organizing canvassing to the Central Valley. If you aren’t able to call or phonebank, you can still contribute to our winning by donating to cover the travel expenses of those who are doing the work for all of us.

The San Mateo County Democratic Party does not receive contributions from corporate entities.

Contributions to the San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Corporate and union contributions are acceptable under California law to be used in connection with non-federal elections. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
