Attacks on the freedom to vote, and on our ability to freely and fairly count those votes, have dramatically increased in the past year, largely engineered through anti-voter laws passed by state legislatures. These laws seek to limit every aspect of voting, including voter registration, early and absentee voting, and even ballot counting.

In this talk, Daniel Squadron of The States Project discusses the crucial role of state majorities in creating election law, the critical need to elect pro-democracy candidates to statehouses, and the key target states to focus on for 2022 and 2024.
