Local Voter Registration Events

Local voter registration increases the number people voting in our elections and can enable our diverse population to be more fully represented. Voters determine who will represent us in Washington and Sacramento. Their votes for city council and school boards determine who will decide land use issues, address the housing shortage, and take steps to address climate change with its resulting sea level rise and increased wildfire risk. Voters in local races also create the pool of future state and national legislators.

      Update on CD3

Congressional District 3 is one of the seven (7) targeted races in California... and we only need to flip five (5) for Democrats to take back the majority in the House of Representatives (and bring back sanity). Polling has confirmed that this race is winnable and we are organizing now to Kick Out Kevin Kiley next year.  Because CD3 is the only targeted congressional race in the northern region, please consider having your organization 'adopt' this race and commit to phone banking, canvassing, etc.

Jessica Morse recently announced her campaign to unseat the 'MAGA-Champion", as former president Trump refers to Kiley.  Jessica is seeking the party's endorsement at our convention in November.  You can learn more about her campaign HERE.

Statewide Day of Action: "The Path to the House Majority Runs Through California"

This Saturday will be the final phone bank into CD3 until January.  We have been calling voters in the district for the past four months, and we must finish this phase strong. We will have special guests at the beginning of the phone bank, including California elected officials (still being confirmed). We use a predictive/automated dialer and training is provided before we begin. And we stay on Zoom together, so callers will not be alone. Sign up HERE to join us.

We're calling high propensity Democrats and left-leaning voters in CD3. These folks tend to be higher-information, and more reliable voters. The main reasons we are calling them is 1) to make sure they know how awful Kiley is, 2) to recruit them to join us, and 3) to encourage them to educate their friends.

With the goal of flipping Congressional District 3 (CD3) Democratic, we are calling the actual voters and having conversations with them about their concerns. These conversations will help our candidate with messaging and help build relationships between voters and the Democratic party.
